Red Carpet Flavors: Make Your Oscars Party a Little Tipsier

What could be more lovely than a bowl of Tipsy Scoop? Not many things, but these Red Carpet beauties do give the delicious treat a run for its money. We compared our favorite leading ladies with our favorite Tipsy flavors to prepare for the Red Carpet this Sunday. This year we're hoping to add Amy Adams in Frangelico Affogato to the list!

Our Grasshopper Creme de Menthe flavor reminds us of the Edith Head designed gown that Grace Kelly wore in 1955 when she won Best Actress for her role in The Country Girl.

Our "Hot" Cinnamon Ginger Buttered Rum flavor reminds us of Susan Sarandon's Dolce & Gabbana dress from 1996, winning Best Actress for her role in Dead Man Walking.

The classic frock Julie Andrews wore in 1965, winning Best Actress for her role in Sound of Music, reminds us of our classic flavor, Cake Batter Vodka Martini.

Our Strawberry Rhubarb Bourbon flavor resembles Gwyneth Paltrow's Ralph Lauren dress from 1999, winning Best Actress for her role in Shakespeare in Love.

Our St. Germain & Tequila "Hot" Chocolate flavor reminds us of the elaborate gown Bette Davis wore in 1939 when she won Best Actress for her role in Jezebel.

Our Blood Orange & Campari flavor resembles Halle Berry's Elie Saab dress from 2002, winning Best Actress for her role in Monster's Ball.

Our Mango Margarita flavor reminds us of the Halston number Liza Minnelli wore in 1973 when she won Best Actress for her role in Cabaret.

The glamorous Randolph Duke gown Hilary Swank wore in 2000, winning Best Actress for her role in Boy's Don't Cry, reminds us of our Maple Bourbon Eggnog flavor.

The Rodarte dress Natalie Portman wore in 2011, winning Best Actress for her role in Black Swan reminds us of our Kir Royale flavor.

Our Irish Car Bomb flavor reminds us of the Lanvin gown Meryl Streep wore in 2012 when she won Best Actress for her role in The Iron Lady.

Making St. Patty's Day A Little BOOZIER

St. Patty's day is a notoriously BOOZY holiday that just got BOOZIER! In addition to all your crazy green cocktails and bagels, we have created booze-infused ice cream flavors specifically for your St. Patty's Day celebration! Here are our three flavors to celebrate the Irish:

Irish Coffee- Cinnamon Whisky, Coffee, Coffee Liqueur and Cream Liqueur

We decided to change the traditional recipe up and use Fireball Cinnamon Whisky instead of an Irish Whisky- we think this added just the spice and kick that the ice cream needed!

Shamrock Shooter- Kahlua, Amaretto, and Green Sprinkles

Here we added green sprinkles, just because- St. Patty's day = green stuff.

Irish Car Bomb- Jameson Irish Whiskey, Bailey's, and Guinness

This ice cream was inspired by one of our favorite shots- the Irish Car Bomb. We kept the ingredients exactly the same as the shot. One scoop tastes like throwing a shot back.

Order your St. Patty's Day party pack for Hoboken St. Patty's day this weekend or later in the month for St. Patty's Day in NYC:) Order here - delivery in dry ice included in Hoboken and Manhattan

What’s Your Tipsy Scoop Personality?

It’s 2014…who are you? Or better yet, who would you be if you lived among the flavors in Tipsy Scoop’s boozy ice cream kingdom of klassics? Read the descriptions below and find out, then treat yourself to a scoop of your delicious personality!

The kingdom of klassic Tipsy Scoop flavors.
(A) You’ve definitely Instagrammed a picture of your feet on a tropical beach. When you find a combo you like, you stick with it. Some combos have never made sense to you (like day planners, weight watchers, power naps…) and you don’t pretend to understand. Hakuna Matata is what you’re all about.

(B) You love when celebrities wear sneakers on the red carpet, and appreciate those ballerinas in Kanye West music videos. Unexpected combinations are kind of your thing, which is why you plan on purchasing a medieval castle on the beach when you retire. Who says you can’t have your cake and eat it too?

(C) Are you a girl? Did you (or do you) own an Easy-Bake oven? Have you fantasized about becoming best friends with the Olsen twins? When pieces of birthday cake are being distributed do you pray for one with a frosting flower? Are you a combination of a Carrie and a Charlotte? If you’ve answered yes to any of these, this one’s for you!

(D) You know all the lyrics to Mambo Number 5 and you’re willing to prove it! Nutrition and fitness are almost as important to you as FUN (thank god for Zumba!). You consider guacamole a food group and often make fashion decisions based solely on color.

(E) Were you ever dressed in a bonnet as a baby? Or worse, as a tween? Have you ever been in a three-legged race? You can definitely taste the difference between real and canned whipped cream and you probably also borrow cups of sugar from your neighbors.

(F) What Arctic Chill?! You love to bundle up no matter the weather and prefer to occupy spaces with working fireplaces. You remember eating lots of oatmeal and soup and things out of bowls as a child and your favorite fairy tale was Hansel and Gretel.

(G) You don’t go to parties, you attend them! You don’t cheers, you toast! Nevertheless you love to toast a whole lot, especially when you’re celebrating Will & Kate’s Anniversary, taking a bubble bath, or rehearsing your own engagement party.

(H) You had a nickname growing up and you probably got it at summer camp. Sometimes you say things like ‘Zoinks!’ when you’re nervous and at the movies you can never decide between those weird Brownie Bite things and Junior Mints, so you get both!

(I) Remember that time you took to snacking on coffee beans? Or how about when you thought a cashmere Snuggie might be a good investment? Don’t remember? Buy a one-way ticket to the Italian Riviera and ask your Italian ex-lover to remind you.

(J) You know what a Goldendoodle is and you’re very glad they exist. You like to start your days earlier than most and don’t require an alarm clock. Your favorite meal (after dessert & cocktails) is brunch and you know about a cool new place that just opened.

(K) You’ve probably caught fireflies in a jar and know a thing or two about horses and/or pickup trucks. You’ve met someone and fallen in love at the County Fair. You think about Taylor Swift (and what she’s up to) way too much.

(L) You love to say ‘Crisp’ almost as much as you love the sound of leaves crunching and refer to September as ‘Back to School’ season even though you’re a young professional, and sitting in a cube right now. You’re drawn to gender-neutral things like blazers, loafers and wristwatches and even though you don’t smoke cigars, you know people who do.

(M) Lucky you! It’s almost March, your favorite! Even though you may not have freckles or an apostrophe in your last name, you secretly wish you did. You like wearing insignia, hitting/slapping things when you laugh and we know that when you say you’d like to try a scoop you really mean three.

(A)   Relax! You’re Kalhua Banana Ice Cream!
(B)   We Don’t! You’re St. Germain & Tequila Mexican “Hot” Chocolate Ice Cream!
(C)   YOLO! You’re Cake Batter Vodka Martini Ice Cream!
(D)  Ariba Ariba! You’re Mango Margarita Sorbet!
(E)   Welcome Home! You’re Strawberry Rhubarb Bourbon Ice Cream!
(F)    Prost! You’re “Hot” Cinnamon and Ginger Buttered Rum Ice Cream!
(G)  (Crystal Clink!) You’re Kir Royale Ice Cream!
(H)  Zoinks! You’re Grasshopper Crème de Menthe Ice Cream!
(I)     Ciao! You’re Frangelico Affogato Ice Cream!
(J)     Bravo! You’re Blood Orange and Campari Ice Cream/Sorbet!
(K)   Y’all know it! You’re Peach Gin Cobbler Ice Cream!
(L)    Cheers! You’re Salted Caramel Apple Brandy Ice Cream!
(M) SHOTS! You’re Irish Car Bomb Ice Cream!
